Progressive Power Yoga DVD Vol. 3

: $19.95

Soul of the Weekend Warrior

Professional athletes are regularly surprised by how advanced the practice of yoga truly is, especially given how ancient it is. For over 5000 years we have watched yoga continue to manifest through various forms and practices. There were never levels. No music. Just you and your breath. The ujjayi breath is all important, and the focus of you and your breath has far deeper implications than one would first allow.

The breath is your lifeforce, coming and exiting. A flow of energy that is so inherent that you forget to tap it but it is always there...even as you sleep. So as you craft your athletic prowess, to fail to hone your breath into the complete program is an oversight of tremendous magnitude. The breath is central to everything. Especially if you have the soul of a weekend warrior.

If you have arrived at Volume 3, I will avoid all redundancies. This is a workout you will rotate. This particular volume will be a challenge. Cool. Embrace it. Allow it. And learn from it by letting go of any attachment to outcome. You are today exactly where you are supposed to be. If you can truly understand and embrace that philosophy, than my DVDs are for you. I would lose all of the pleasure in creating these DVDs for my clients and students if I knew that they were fostering frustration in a soul that was so determined to be perfect that they lost sight of the road along the journey. Celebrate your life. Yoga is about nurturing your soul. Treaure it.
